It’s almost time!

There are only 22 days until the release of The Regulars of Amanda Lexie.

I’ve had a surreal first launch, and if you’ll humor me, I’d love to tell you all about it.

First, I know you’re all wondering. Where can you order this book?

I’m pleased to say it will be available through all major retailers! But for now, please shop at these links:

Now for news!

In an amazing stroke of luck, I was able to have my very first book signing ever at the largest librarian conference in the US. It was such a joy to introduce my little book to the world on such a large stage!

Signing books at ALA 2026!

Next up, I get to return to my alma mater to teach, encourage, be inspired, and connect with writers at all stages of the process. I’m excited this year to also have my book in the conference book store, as well as to be part of the faculty signing!

If you’ll be at the Taylor University Professional Writer’s conference, I hope you’ll say hi!

This is one of my favorite conferences every year, and I always leave inspired and encouraged.

There’s still time to sign up if you’re local!

This year I’m teaching three classes. During the advance track, I’ll be teaching about marketing that every author can do, regardless of how you publish. And during the normal track I’ll be teaching about How to Build a Platform that Works for You, and the elements of suspense and How to Keep Readers Turning Pages regardless of the genre!

Everything feels like it’s happening all at once, so here are the other things that are going on:

  • The Regulars of Amanda Lexie was nominated for TWO different awards! 1. The Foreword INDIES award and the Chanticleer Sea Shorts award (winners announced in 2027–nothing in publishing ever really moves quickly.)
  • The Regulars of Amanda Lexie will be represented at the Frankfurt Book Festival this year through the IBPA booth! This is a huge opportunity for my work to be discovered on a global scale and (hopefully) to receive translation interest.

Finally, I’ve been so blessed by all the lovely things early readers are saying about this book. I am so thankful to all of you! Here’s a collection of some of those early notes:

“A lighthearted, entertaining mystery novel, The Regulars of Amanda Lexie fuels its cat-and-mouse caper with routine coffee-shop stops.”
Foreword Reviews

“Original and highly entertaining … A perfect cozy thriller … [and] a great twist on crime fiction, highlighting the way an ordinary person, Amanda the barista, truly makes a difference by recognizing and caring for her customers.”
—Elizabeth Musser, best-selling, award-winning author of The Swan House, By Way of the Moonlight and From the Valley We Rise

Hanna blends a mix of characters whose secret lives draw Amanda into fascinating, terrifying intrigue guaranteed to keep readers glued to the pages.” —Rachael Phillips, author of the Scottish Bakehouse Mysteries

“A fast-paced, intrigue-filled cozy thriller that kept me hooked from beginning to end and made it impossible to put the book down.”—Lisa Pevey, author of the Honeysuckle Bend Cozy Mystery Series

A terrific read from a young, promising author.”
